Yesterday, while browsing thru Barnes & Noble at Union Square NYC, I walked by the Nook section. The Nook, if you have been living under a rock like the Geico commercial, is an electronic book reader. It struck me as a little ironic that Barnes & Noble was selling the item pictured here: a “Nook Book”. It is a manual on how to use the e-book reader, and it is a real book, not electronic. Of course there are layers of irony: the Barnes & Noble store at Union Square is a brick and mortar store dedicated to selling printed paper books primarily, though they sell music CDs and toys also, and now ebook readers.
